Quackwatch on Robert Barefoot

I have read the Quackwatch home page on Robert Barefoot & their attack on coral calcium. It is ashame they cannot separate their investigation of unethical practices from the raw product Coral Calcium. I am not familiar with his product or the way it is processed (which is the big factor). I know they say it contains questionable ingredients. That is why good research of a product is such a sound practice. Some of their other claims are he is driven by revenue from his books, & not being truthful on revenue from his product.

I want to make it perfectly clear, Coral Calcium does not heal you!!! I think people are missing the idea. Our bodies do the healing, but for them to be able to do this they must have the proper building blocks or regeneration tools. I have seen many people that were constantly sick & with proper nutrition & the addition of vitamins & minerals their Immune Systems became stronger, & they became very healthy. Many of these people were healed of Degenerative Diseases very common in our society today. Some of these people are you who are reading this. If so please post your comment to this. There is strength in numbers!

Most of what I read on the page written by Stephen Barrett M.D., was written from the viewpoint of The Medical Industry (I use this word because it so closely describes our medicine today). Ironically these are the people who are claiming Robert Barefoot is revenue driven. They seemed to focus on claims that the Coral Calcium did the actual healing. It makes perfect sense to attack something that could help solve some of the problems doctors make money from. We have to be very careful in the politically correct society we live in today, but we do still have Freedom of Speech!! I do not know if Robert Barefoot is doing anything wrong, but I do know to attack Coral Calcium in such a way is very unfair.

Acid & Alkaline Forming Foods

We discussed the importance of keeping our bodies in a neutral or alkaline pH in an earlier post. The reason acidosis (the body staying in an acid state) is more common in Americans is mostly due to the typical American diet, which is far too high in acid producing animal products like meat, eggs & dairy, and far too low in alkaline producing foods like fresh vegetables. Our diets are also very rich in acid producing processed foods like white flour & sugar, and we drink many acid producing beverages like coffee, tea or soft drinks. Americans use too many drugs, which are acid forming; and we use artificial sweeteners which are poison and extremely acid forming. One of the best things we can due to correct an overly acid body is clean up our diets. The diet should be a minimum of 60% alkaline forming foods, but to restore health it should be 80%. An easy rule of thumb is alkaline forming foods include: most fruits, green vegetables, peas, green beans, lentils, spices, herbs, seeds & nuts. Generally, acid forming foods include: meat, fish, poultry, eggs, grains & legumes. The few acidifying fruits & vegetables are as follows: corn, lentils, olives, winter squash, blueberries, cranberries, currants, plums & prunes. Although it might seem that citrus fruits would have an acidifying effect on the body, the citric acid they contain actually has an alkalizing effect in the system. The pH of the actual food has nothing to do with the acid or alkalizing effects it has on the body. Lemons & watermelon are the most alkalizing fruits available. Sugar Free

Aspartic Acid the sweetener in Aspartame is in most diet beverages & more than 5,000 food products. 25% of American women are sensitive or allergic to Aspartic Acid and have symptoms such as headaches, sluggishness, anxiety, depression, irritability, tingling or shaking of extremities, rapid heartbeat or difficulty breathing & many more symptoms. According to the FDA 85% of reported adverse food reactions are aspartame-related. Splenda is currently being sued by the Federal Trade Commission for false advertisement. It is not natural, it is made with phosgene gas and a complex chemical chlorination process. The makers know though that they may advertise long enough to persuade or should I say manipulate the vast majority into using it, then when they are ordered to stop advertising the damage will already be done. Stevia is used widely in Japan like we use sugar in processed foods, but that is another story.

Parasites

Over 134 kinds of parasites can infect humans. A large percentage of the population of the world is infected, even in the United States. The World Health Organization has named parasitic diseases as among the six most harmful infective diseases in humans. We get these parasites from many different sources. Not only digging or working in the yard but just walking on the lawn barefoot where pets have been, even years before, can we pick up these parasites. Under cooked or non cooked foods, such as non washed produce. Over 50% of the nations drinking water is infected with a parasite called giardiasis. We pick up worms from touching & especially sleeping with our pets. If worms are in the intestinal tract, they can cause problems in the heart, liver, kidneys, brain, etc. by their toxic secretions or by reflex disturbance. Some common worms such as round worms lay over 200,000 eggs a day, hookworms lay 5-10,000 eggs a day and can live for fourteen years. Something to think about! Toxins

I have come to find that the body is a fantastic regenerating organism. We take in toxins daily thru the air we breath, the water we drink & the foods we eat. Our bodies also absorb toxins thru the skin. These toxins react in our bodies, causing our bodies to become sluggish. When our bodies stay in this state over a long period of time diseases & cancers set in. If we rid our bodies of these toxins, then supply the body at a cellular level with the vitamins & minerals needed, the body can rebuild itself.

Lack of Energy

Lack of energy is one of the most asked about subjects. One of the main reasons we lack energy is our bodies have become dehydrated & demineralized. We must have minerals in our bodies, but our diet has removed most of these. The pH level of our blood cannot fluctuate much outside the range of 7.30-7.45 or we will become diseased & can die. Most of our diet is very acid. The main culprit is soda pop. The pH of soda is around 2. When we drink 1 glass of soda we must drink 21 glasses of a high alkaline drink to counteract the affects. Not too many people do this, & most people drink more than one soda daily. This keeps our bodies in an acid state, which is the breeding ground for bacteria, fungus & virus. When the low pH liquid enters our bodies, the blood rushes first to the muscles, then the organs, then finally the bones to get calcium & other minerals to raise the pH of the liquid we just drank. If this is happening over & over & we are not replenishing these minerals couldn't that explain the massive sickness in our society today? The drop of energy in the afternoon is due to dehydration. Instead of us reaching for water to rehydrate, we reach for soda, which gives us a temporary sugar rush but does not really address the issue of dehydration. Now we are in worse shape than before. You say I don't drink soda, I drink tea. Tea has a pH of 2.8. Well then you ask about juice & power drinks, they are all in the range of 2.9 to 3.7. Even bottled water is in the pH range of 5. Does this now shed some light on the sickness of our society?
